Perfect spot for family visits!
We stayed for a night visiting fam in Winscombe. The location’s perfect, right on the main road but quiet at night. Staff were super nice and food in the bar was good value. Breakfast hit the spot, too! Just wish the chairs in our room were comfier. a solid place!

Fantastic full English breakfast!
Just spent a night here with my partner, and it was a nice stay! The room was super comfy and spacious. We loved the cooked-to-order full English breakfast – def worth the wait! The only thing is parking could get a bit tight later in the evening, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our experience. Great spot for exploring Cheddar!

Just an optimal selection for one night in Winscombe with decent value for money. The housekeeper was super helpful when we needed an ironing board. Make sure to ask for a quiet room away from the pub noise.

A spacious Standard Twin Room, well-cleaned and with comfortable beds made daily to a high standard. Location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area, making it easy to enjoy local walking opportunities.
Noise from the busy junction outside can be bothersome during peak times, especially if you're hoping to sit outside with a drink. Some common areas showed minor dust accumulation, which detracted from the otherwise impressive cleanliness standards. Parking felt a bit tight during busier hours, which may lead to some inconvenience for those arriving later in the day.

Exceptional Dining Experience and Comfortable Stay
I stayed for one night in a Superior Double Room, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern it was. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had a fantastic walk-in shower that I loved. Dinner was a highlight. I had the homemade burger with bacon jam, which was a taste sensation, and breakfast offered a great selection. My only suggestion would be to resolve the occasional noise from outside, but overall, it was an excellent stay.
